About
Who builds HashKinetics.
HashKinetics is a post-quantum L1 for AI-agent payments, built in the open and led by its founder. The chain's source code, its releases, the papers and the public testnet's chain data are public; this page says who leads the work, what it has produced so far, and how to reach the project.
Leadership
Yaduvendra Mukherjee
Yadu · leading HashKinetics since day zero, 15 August 2026
Yadu designed HashKinetics and builds it. He leads the protocol, the code, the public testnet and the security process, and he wrote the whitepaper and the yellowpaper: the DOI record of each names him as its author.
The house rule since day one, as the receipts page puts it: nothing is claimed until it has run, and the worst days get published with the best ones.

Designed and written down
Hash-based signatures for every wallet on the chain and every validator vote, a shielded pool with one-time disclosure, and spending limits for AI agents that the chain itself enforces. The design is in the whitepaper and the yellowpaper (v1.0, 18 August 2026; both amended since), linked in the footer below.
Open source, released with checksums
The chain and the Windows and Android wallets are open source on GitHub under MIT or Apache-2.0. The project published 32 releases there between 26 August and 23 October 2026, the last of them v0.19.9; each of the 25 that ship a binary carries its SHA-256 checksums.
Run in public, control said plainly
testnet-1 has been live since 2 September 2026. As of 3 November 2026, 16:31 UTC, the public RPC lists 11 validator seats (hk_getValidators; live on the explorer): Yadu runs the four founding seats, which hold 16 of the 23 units of voting power, and independent operators hold the other seven. Until that weight is lowered by certificate or a twelfth seat is admitted, the founding seats can decide blocks and seat changes on their own.
Reported privately, handled in public
Reports go privately to security@hashkinetics.org (SECURITY.md); fixes ship as releases, and reporters are credited in the changelog unless they prefer anonymity. The core chain is not independently audited yet; an audit engagement with CertiK began on 2 September 2026 and no report exists.
The record
Led from day zero, with dates
A clean-slate design, and a four-validator lab chain the same night
The design was set that morning; by night a four-validator lab chain was committing blocks. Hash-based votes and the shielded pool followed within two days.
The whitepaper and the yellowpaper, v1.0
The design and its specification, written by Yadu and citable by DOI since 25 August.
The chain's source went public
Release v0.10.3 on GitHub, under MIT or Apache-2.0.
testnet-1 launched from a ceremony genesis
Fresh hash-based validator keys for the four founding seats, and one genesis file that every seat runs from; genesis fingerprint 4e4ea68d…971c7.
Eleven seats
The seventh independent operator joined; four founding seats and seven held by others since.
v0.19.9: an externally reported fault, fixed
A malformed consensus signature is now refused, never a panic. Released on GitHub with its checksums; the reporter is credited in the changelog.
More entries, each with how to check it, are on the receipts page.

The only public sale of HKN is the sale contract named on the signed address list: any other public offer of HKN, by direct message or otherwise, is not the issuer's. The issuer never asks for a seed phrase or a private key, and the sale never asks you to send tokens to an address: it delivers HKN in the purchase transaction itself.
